With a heavy heart, I have made the difficult decision to end my direct collaboration with the small biodynamic tea farms in Asia. It has been a passion of mine since 2006, but now a new and exciting tea journey is about to begin. To avoid the ever-changing, complex, and expensive legislation regarding the import of specialty tea to Europe – and especially Denmark – I have chosen to start growing my own tea.

The last 10 years of travels and evaluation tasks have given me unique knowledge, and I now feel ready to produce micro-lots in the beautiful terroir near Krakær, close to Ebeltoft. It all started as an experiment in 2020 when the pandemic began, and I feel that I have now learned the necessary lessons to grow tea in this environment. Moving forward, my focus will be on growing, picking, and making tea – a journey I am very much looking forward to continuing. I will continue to hold workshops and classes, including new courses on how to grow and make your own tea.

My webshop will close on January 31, where the tea is now being sold at significant discounts. Don’t wait too long to get your favorite tea – they are running out. From February 10 to February 15 (week 7), the remaining tea will be sold in our physical store near Krakær. If you wish to purchase in larger quantities, feel free to contact us by email for a tasting and presentation. Once the stock is depleted, we will prepare it for tea production.
