Simply Tea Choc Chip Cookies

You will need: 1 hand mixer 3 baking trays lined with baking paper

Ingredients:

  • 250 g soft butter
  • 250 g brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ vanilla bean
  • 450 g all-purpose flour
  • 50 g cocoa powder
  • 10 g baking soda
  • 325 g 70% coarsely chopped dark chocolate
  • 150 g hazelnuts

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 175° C.
  2. Whisk the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time and mix well.
  4. Add the flour, cocoa, vanilla, baking soda, and mix everything together well.
  5. Fold in the chocolate and nuts at the end.
  6. Form 50-gram balls of dough and flatten the balls with your hand, placing them on a tray lined with baking paper, about 6 pieces per baking tray.
  7. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
  8. Let cool on a wire rack.
  9. Store in a cool, airtight container.

Choc Chip Cookies taste especially good with a cup of puerh, for example, Shu Palace Puerh.

You will achieve the best results by using organic ingredients.
