Quiche Lorraine

Ingredients:
250 g shortcrust pastry
100 g bacon
2 eggs
2 egg yolks
150 ml cream
150 ml milk
50 g grated cheddar cheese

Grease a tart pan (about 20 cm in diameter). Place the pastry in the bottom of the pan. Cook the bacon and cut the slices into 1-2 cm wide pieces. Place them on the pastry.
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, egg yolks, milk, cream, salt, and pepper. Pour the egg mixture over the bacon.
Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and finally garnish with a few slices of tomato. Bake the tart in the oven at 200 degrees for 30-35 minutes – or until the filling is set (around 85°).

You will achieve the best Quiche Lorraine with organic ingredients!
