Tea tips

Rinse your salad in tea!

If you want to extend the shelf life of salad, vegetables, and fruit, a good tip is to rinse them in tea water.
Salad stays fresh and crisp for at least two days longer when we rinse it in tea water. Once the salad has been rinsed in the tea water, we drain it and wrap the salad in a cloth and place it in the refrigerator. The salad is ready to use whenever you want it. Still fresh and crisp, just like when you bought it!

Procedure:

1.

Save the leaves from your white, yellow, or green teas, place them in a teapot, pour cold water over them, and put the teapot in the refrigerator until you want to rinse salad, fruit, or vegetables.

2.

Strain it through a sieve to avoid getting the tea leaves in when rinsing the salad (but the leaves can also be eaten and contain plenty of nutrients).

3.

Strain the salad, and you have fresh salad ready to use for up to a week!
